Fellow

Advanced membership for distinguished educators

For highly experienced educators with advanced qualifications and recognised professional status.

Membership cost:

  • £105 per year – Direct Debit
  • £115 per year – Card payment
  • Hold a Level 5 teaching qualification, and
  • Hold a Master's or Doctorate in education or the subject you teach (or an equivalent Level 7 qualification or above), and
  • Have at least 5 years' teaching or training experience within FE and Skills

OR

  • Hold Advanced Teacher Status (ATS) or an ETF Technical Teaching Fellowship

Professional membership for established educators

For qualified educators who are actively teaching and developing their practice.

Membership cost:

  • £93 per year – Direct Debit
  • £99.50 per year – Card payment
  • Diploma in Education and Training (DET)
  • Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (DTTLS)
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

  • Certificate in Education (CertED)

For early-career educators and assessors building teaching experience.

Membership cost:

  • A Level 3 certificate in teaching (e.g. Level 3 Award in Education and Training, AET) or equivalent
  • A Level 3 Assessor award
