You will explore how to create a clear development pathway that strengthens knowledge, skills, and confidence at all levels of practice. The session covers how to support staff through targeted training, coaching, and professional development that links directly to learner needs and outcomes. You will also examine how to work effectively with external partners, including employers, support services, and specialist providers, to ensure a consistent and informed approach. There is a focus on developing a shared standard of practice, where expectations are clear and expertise is recognised and applied consistently. Practical examples show how organisations build capacity over time, reduce reliance on key individuals, and create a sustainable, skilled workforce that improves outcomes for learners with SEND.
