This course is aimed at people with little to no experience in teaching ESOL, and is fully accredited to equip you with the skills, knowledge and pedagogy to begin teaching and training as an ESOL practicioner in the FE sector.

Programme aim

This is a comprehensive course spanning 12 weeks with 2 x 2 hour sessions per week.

The content is accredited by Milton Keynes College on behalf of NCFE and focuses on pedagogical and practical approaches to teaching, specifically, ESOL learners. 

Who is this for?

This course is for those new to teaching, preparing to teach as well as established maths teachers and other practitioners delivering GCSE maths and Functional Skills maths in the Further Education and Training sector.  

Please note, all enrolments will be required to complete a diagnostic assessment before the course begins. If the course is deemed to be unsuitable for you, a full refund will be issued.
