‘Preparing for End-Point Assessment Success’ is one of two courses designed to support effective technical teaching in apprenticeships.
The course will explore the impact of end-point assessment (EPA) on different roles, how assessment can support apprentices’ learning and the different scenarios that may occur.
Who is this for?
This programme is designed for managers, delivery staff, and support staff.
Provider staff who are involved in teaching, or preparing to deliver, apprenticeships.
Programme structure
This is an eLearning course which takes on average six to eight hours to complete.
What will you gain?
Explore end-point assessment (EPA), the role of curriculum design and employer involvement in EPA preparation.
Consider validity, the importance of on-programme assessments and the gateway process.
Develop your understanding of EPA challenges and how to support apprentices through EPA while accounting for equality and accessibility.
