Equity, Diversity and Inclusion LMS Content
This course was developed by the Education and Training Foundation (ETF) to help sector staff develop knowledge and understanding of the role of equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) work in further education.
Programme aim
This course looks at how to create spaces in your role that support and encourage respectful discussion with colleagues and learners regarding EDI, helping learners to understand and appreciate others, value diversity and share their own ideas and insights.
It also explores legal duties and responsibilities, as well as how and why embedding inclusive practices will enrich your work with learners.
Who is this for?
This course is for all those who work in the Further Education and Skills sector, including teachers, trainers, leaders, governors and support staff.
Programme structure
This is an eLearning course which takes on average four hours to complete.
